About

There is something about leather that keeps drawing me back to the bench.

I’m a London-based Leather Artisan, Leather Modelist and Product Developer with over a decade of experience across luxury fashion, leather goods, restoration, bespoke making, film and theatre.

My work is rooted in a deep respect for traditional leather craftsmanship, while remaining open to experimentation, design and new ways of working with the material. I’m drawn to leather for its texture, strength and character — how it changes with time, touch and use. Every hide is different, and I enjoy understanding the material and discovering what it can become.

Trained in Saddlery, Harness and Bridle Making at Capel Manor College, I developed a strong foundation in traditional construction, pattern cutting and making. I later undertook specialist training in framed briefcases, kit bags and trunk cases, further developing my knowledge of structured leather goods and casework.

Over the years, I have worked with Burberry, Carl Friedrik and The Restory, developing and making luxury bags, small leather goods, travel pieces, cases and bespoke objects. My restoration work has included high-end leather goods and antiques, where precision, patience and respect for the original construction are essential.

My practice also extends beyond traditional leather goods. For Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II, I worked with leather and metal, creating ageing, breakdown, dyes and patina to give materials a sense of history and authenticity. Working across fashion, film and theatre has allowed me to explore leather not only as a functional material, but as something tactile, expressive and capable of telling a story.

I enjoy working from an initial idea through to the finished piece — developing patterns, solving problems through making, experimenting with materials and refining the smallest details. For me, good craftsmanship is about more than precision; it is about understanding the material, respecting the process and creating something with character.
